93% of €3.2bn tax debt deferred by businesses through the pandemic's debt warehousing scheme is now paid or in process, per Revenue Commissioners.

93% of the €3.2bn tax debt deferred by businesses through the Government's debt warehousing scheme during the pandemic has now been either paid in full or is in the process of being paid, according to the Revenue Commissioners. The scheme, which allowed companies to temporarily defer VAT, employer PAYE, and certain other tax liabilities, has now ended. Businesses had until 1 May to discuss arrangements for paying their warehoused tax liabilities.
