Azerbaijan's Chief of the General Staff, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, is on an official visit to Uzbekistan. During his visit, Valiyev met with his Uzbek counterpart, Major General Shukhrat Khalmukhamedov, and discussed cooperation prospects in the military, military-technical, and military-educational spheres. The two sides also exchanged information on other issues of mutual interest.
