APC's NWC extends Rivers State caretaker committee's tenure for six months.
The APC's National Working Committee (NWC) has extended the tenure of the Rivers State caretaker committee for another six months. The committee, led by caretaker chairman Tony C. Okocha, was initially established to resolve internal party conflicts and form a full-fledged State Working Committee. The NWC's decision was made during its 151st meeting at the National Secretariat in Abuja on June 5, 2024.
