A former medical assistant at Mass General Dermatology, Leonardo Hernandez, has been charged with indecent assault and battery for allegedly conducting an unauthorized examination on a female patient. The incident was reported to authorities on April 12, several weeks after it occurred. Hernandez, 29, was arraigned in Boston Municipal Court and released on personal recognizance, with an order to stay away from the hospital. The case will return to court on June 24 for a pre-trial hearing.
