60-year-old Wendy MacBean, a former cross-community charity worker, will stand trial for over 20 charges linked to an alleged £1m Gift Aid fraud. The alleged offenses occurred while she was employed by Foyle Youth and Community Association in Londonderry. MacBean denies 25 charges, including claiming Gift Aid of over £250,000 for more than £1m in donations and transferring over £94,000 from the charity's account to her own.
