34-year-old Elliot Knox was sentenced to two life terms without parole for the ambush murders of Baltimore Police Officer Keona Holley and Justin Johnson in 2021. Knox was identified as the owner of the vehicle recorded on surveillance footage from both crime scenes. Despite not establishing a motive, prosecutors managed to secure a conviction by presenting sufficient evidence. Co-defendant Travon Shaw was also found guilty of both murders and sentenced to life in prison without parole.
