23-year-old Aziayh Scott, originally from Louisiana, has been arrested in New Orleans and charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of 22-month-old Quayshawn Wilson in Thomaston, Maine. Scott had recently moved to Maine and was living with his girlfriend and the child in Owls Head. The child's death was caused by blunt force trauma, ruled a homicide by the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta. The process to extradite Scott back to Maine for the charge of manslaughter is underway.
