An Auckland Airport baggage handler, Kimela Kolo Piukana, has admitted to participating in an organised crime syndicate involved in an alleged $50m meth import scheme. Piukana, 24, pleaded guilty in the High Court at Auckland, two and a half years after his arrest during Operation Selena, an undercover investigation. He was part of a group tasked with secretly removing drug shipments from Malaysian Airlines and Air New Zealand flights.
