32-year-old Angel Almaraz of LaPorte was arrested for OWI after he allegedly hit a motorcycle from behind, killing 73-year-old passenger Cheryl Skidmore and injuring the driver, an 82-year-old man from Florida. The crash occurred Monday night on State Road 2 near County Road 150 East in LaPorte County, Indiana. Almaraz faces charges of operating while intoxicated causing death, operating while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury, and never receiving a license.
