Sydneysiders face soaring petrol prices of up to 207 cents per litre for the June long weekend, with motorists urged to research before filling up. The NRMA warns that despite Sydney's wholesale price for regular unleaded dropping to 171.1 cents per litre, motorists paid an average of 181 cents per litre last week. In contrast, Adelaide and Perth average regular unleaded prices have fallen to 169 cents per litre.
