Sweden plans to ease its strict alcohol monopoly by allowing breweries, distilleries, and winemakers to sell alcoholic beverages directly to customers visiting their operations. Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said the reform is aimed at small-scale and artisanal operations, with around 600 businesses expected to be affected. Sales will be limited to occasions where visitors have paid for a guided tour or a lecture.
