Pennsylvania Judge Susan Schulman reduced a $2.25bn verdict against Bayer for a man claiming Roundup weedkiller caused his non-Hodgkin's lymphoma to $400m. Jury found John McKivison's cancer was caused by using Roundup for yard work. Bayer plans to appeal, disputing the liability verdict and calling for US legislative reform to protect companies whose products comply with federal labeling requirements.
