Ohio's AG, Dave Yost, seeks a temporary restraining order to prevent Hebrew Union College from selling its rare book collection.
Ohio's attorney general, Dave Yost, seeks a temporary restraining order to prevent Hebrew Union College from selling its rare book collection, housed at the Klau Library in Cincinnati. The collection includes thousands of items, such as Biblical codices, illuminated manuscripts, and ancient documents. Yost argues that the sale would betray donors' trust and may violate legal restrictions on the gifts. A hearing on the request is scheduled for July 12.
