New Zealand government pledges NZ$36m for locally-led catchment groups and sustainable farming.

The New Zealand government has pledged NZ$36m to support locally-led catchment groups, with NZ$7m directly invested into 11 catchment groups and collectives. This funding is in addition to an existing NZ$46m investment in 46 catchment-based projects that support 290 groups and over 9,000 farmers. The commitment aims to improve land management practices and support sustainable farming across the country.
