The A55 near Chester was fully reopened on June 5 after a serious crash involving a pedestrian and an HGV that closed the road in both directions on June 4. The westbound carriageway reopened the previous night, while the eastbound side remained closed for several hours. Cheshire Police investigated the scene and motorists experienced delays during the closure. National Highways thanked drivers for their patience.
