MHI and EGAT sign MoU for hydrogen co-firing research in Thailand's power plants, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and Thailand's Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) signed an MoU to research hydrogen co-firing technologies for gas turbine power plants in Thailand, aiming to support carbon neutrality by 2050 and net-zero emissions by 2065. A pilot project at an EGAT power plant with a feasibility study by March 2025 is planned, leveraging MHI's expertise in power solutions.
