Halton police recovered $1m worth of stolen goods from a Peel Region storage facility during a raid, following a three-month investigation into an organized crime ring targeting Shoppers Drug Mart locations. The suspect, Pawel Hohne, was charged with possession and trafficking of stolen property. Nearly half a million dollars' worth of the recovered items were returned to Shoppers Drug Mart.
