Eco Atlantic Oil & Gas acquires 75% interest in South Africa's Block 1 in the Orange Basin, becoming the operator.
Eco Atlantic Oil & Gas Ltd. has announced a farm-in into South Africa's Block 1 in the Orange Basin, acquiring a 75% working interest through its 100% owned subsidiary Azinam South Africa Limited. Eco Atlantic will become the operator of the new exploration right, with Tosaco Energy transferring its remaining 25% interest to OrangeBasin Oil and Gas. The 19,929 km² block is located offshore near the Namibian border.
