Chinese smartphone brand Oppo rolled out over 100 generative AI features to its phones this year and established an AI R&D center in China. The company has filed over 5,399 patents on emerging technology worldwide and pledged not to use user data for training models. They plan to offer generative AI features to around 50 million users by the end of this year, making AI phones accessible to consumers.
