Chinese drone maker DJI completed the world's first successful drone delivery tests on Mount Qomolangma (Everest) from the Nepali side in April. DJI FlyCart 30 was tested, delivering three oxygen bottles and 1.5 kg of supplies to Camp 1 and carrying trash back down. This marks a significant advancement in high-altitude mountaineering, emergency rescue, and environmental protection operations.
