Car dealership Mastrovito Hyundai donated $9,000 for a 15-month-old German Shepherd, named Mastro, to join the Oneida County Sheriff's Office K9 force, increasing it to 8 dogs. The donation was motivated by owner Frank Mastrovito's grandfather's service in the Sheriff's Office. Mastro is currently undergoing training with Deputy Christopher Dorr for patrol work and narcotics detection.
