Financial giants BlackRock and Citadel Securities plan to establish a new national stock exchange in Texas, known as the TXSE. The Texas Stock Exchange aims to compete with NYSE and Nasdaq by potentially offering more favorable regulatory conditions. They have raised around $120M and plan to submit registration documents to the SEC later this year, targeting a 2025 start and first listing in 2026.
