Air Liquide invests $250m in Idaho gas plant to supply Micron Technology with gases for AI chip production.

Air Liquide plans to invest $250 million in a new industrial gas plant in Idaho to supply Micron Technology, a U.S. chipmaker, with ultra-pure nitrogen and other gases. The investment will support Micron's production of leading-edge memory chips, particularly those required by artificial intelligence. The new plant, expected to be operational by 2025, will create hundreds of direct and indirect jobs.
