Zimbabwe and Rwanda ratify agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters for crime cooperation.

Zimbabwe has ratified its agreement with Rwanda on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters, signed in March 2021, aiming to boost international cooperation in combating crime. Both countries will provide assistance in investigations, prosecutions, and legal proceedings. The agreement's entry into force is expected to take effect 30 days after completion of constitutional requirements and will facilitate exchange of evidence, witnesses, and assistance to enhance law enforcement effectiveness.
