A 26-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with assaulting a shop worker with an unidentified weapon and shoplifting at the Auckland Airport Shopping Centre. The woman allegedly attempted to leave the store with a trolley full of approximately $1,400 worth of stolen goods and assaulted staff members, causing minor injuries. The police were alerted to the incident by employees of a nearby store.
