13-year-old Thomas Collett, described as the 'kindest, cheekiest, witty and clever little boy anyone would have met,' tragically died in Lichfield after being hit by a Nissan Qashqai. The collision occurred on Ash Grove at around 6.30pm on May 31, and despite paramedics' best efforts, Thomas succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the car, known to the victim and his family, remains supportive of the ongoing investigation.
