An elderly Christian man in Pakistan's Punjab province, who was critically injured during a mob attack over a blasphemy allegation, has died. Nazir Masih, 72, sustained severe head injuries during the May 25 violence in Sargodha, when a radical mob led by Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) activists attacked Christian community members. The mob burned and ransacked the homes and properties of the Christians, and accused Masih of desecrating the Quran. The deceased's family denied the allegations.
