40% of US adults are hesitant to buy electric vehicles due to high prices and limited charging stations, according to a new AP-NORC poll.

A new poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research and the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago reveals that many Americans are still hesitant to buy electric vehicles (EVs). While 4 in 10 U.S. adults say they would be at least somewhat likely to buy an EV for their next car, 46% claim they are not too likely or not at all likely to purchase one. High prices and a lack of easy-to-find charging stations remain significant obstacles for potential EV buyers, according to the poll, which mirrors results from a similar AP-NORC poll from the previous year.
