The UK is introducing "super-ATMs" that allow customers of major banks like Barclays, Halifax, Lloyds, NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Ulster Bank to make free cash deposits. The first machine has been set up in Atherstone, Warwickshire, with plans for over 100 across the country by the end of the year. The initiative aims to help cash-reliant consumers and businesses, as well as address the gap left by the closure of bank branches.
