Thales and the UK's Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) have reduced the carbon footprint of UK driving licences, tachograph, and residence cards by over one-third in five years. Thales uses eco-design principles, energy efficiency, recycling, and carbon offsetting to minimize carbon emissions as part of its worldwide low-carbon strategy. The DVLA remains on track to meet the UK government's target of net-zero emissions by 2050.
