South Korea's People Power Party plans to propose a law revision, enabling compensation for citizens affected by North Korea's trash-carrying balloons. The party aims to amend the Framework Act on Civil Defense to establish a legal basis for compensation. This move comes after around 1,000 balloons filled with trash were sent to the South by North Korea in response to anti-Pyongyang leaflet campaigns.
