Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan, founder of Jana Sena Party, won the Pithapuram Assembly seat in Andhra Pradesh, marking his first victory in the legislative assembly. The JSP secured 21 Assembly seats and both Kakinada and Machilipatnam Lok Sabha seats, becoming the second-largest party in the state. The party's victory comes after forming an alliance with the BJP in 2020, which contributed to pushing the incumbent YSRCP to third place.
