Pan African Resources signs 5-year wage agreement with NUM for Barberton Mines, providing 5.3% annual increases.
JSE-listed Pan African Resources has signed a five-year wage agreement with the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) at its Barberton Mines operations, providing average annual increases of approximately 5.3%. The current five-year wage agreement with UASA, which entered in 2021, is valid for another two years. The company also noted the maturation of Barberton Mines' Employee Share Ownership Plan (ESOP) has brought meaningful benefits to qualifying employees.
