NXP Semiconductors and ZF Friedrichshafen AG are collaborating on next-generation SiC-based traction inverter solutions for electric vehicles (EVs). The partnership aims to improve safety, efficiency, range, and performance of EVs by leveraging NXP's advanced GD316x high-voltage isolated gate drivers. The collaboration is expected to accelerate the adoption of 800-V and SiC power devices.
