A Sydney primary school faced criticism for playing a rap song containing violent lyrics about 'white devils' and calling Captain Cook a 'murderer without license' for two months. The song, "Bagi-la-m Bargan" by Indigenous rapper Birdz, was played during Reconciliation Week. Education Minister Prue Car found the content inappropriate for young children and the school has since removed the song and apologized.
