Microsoft plans to invest $1bn in LaPorte, Indiana, to establish a new data center, creating up to 200 jobs by 2032. The 245,000-square-foot data center will be constructed at the Radius Industrial Park and aid in the widespread adoption of cloud computing and AI. This follows Microsoft's recent investment in St. Joseph County and is part of $14.8bn committed by Fortune 500 businesses to Indiana's technology infrastructure in 2024.
