Privacy rights group NOYB lodged two complaints with Austria's data protection authority against Microsoft's education software, alleging that the tech giant violates children's data protection rights. The group claims that Microsoft's 365 Education suite transfers its responsibilities as a data controller to schools, which lack necessary data control and can't comply with GDPR requests.
