Matthew Lewis, Harry Potter actor, mourns close friend and former rugby player Rob Burrow, who passed away at 41 after a battle with motor neurone disease.
Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis paid tribute to his close friend, former rugby league player Rob Burrow, who passed away at 41 after a four-and-a-half-year battle with motor neurone disease (MND). Lewis, known for his role as Neville Longbottom, was a close friend of Burrow and voiced the audiobook version of Burrow's autobiography, Too Many Reasons To Live, in 2021. In a heartfelt post, Lewis described the world as "a little less bright, a little less optimistic" without Burrow, who was an inspiration and campaigner for raising awareness of MND.
