A lorry carrying livestock overturned on the N17 at Ballinacarrow at 5:30 AM, causing the road to close temporarily. The driver was uninjured, but some livestock did not survive. The road has since reopened after cleanup and investigation, with traffic diversions via Clarke's Bridge and Ropefield Cross, and HGVs being diverted through Tubbercurry to Ballymote.
