Kenyan reggae MC Njambi Koikai (Fyah Mummah), who advocated for women's health, passed away after a 17-year battle with endometriosis. Koikai had undergone more than 15 surgeries in Kenya and the US and launched a crowdfunding campaign for treatment in 2017. In her final message, she urged Kenyan President William Ruto to declare endometriosis a national disaster and invest in healthcare during his US state visit.
