JDRF rebrands as Breakthrough T1D, focusing on accelerating T1D treatments and advocating for lower-cost insulin.
JDRF, a leading type 1 diabetes (T1D) organization, has rebranded as Breakthrough T1D. The new name was selected to better represent the non-profit's ability to connect with and work on behalf of the entire T1D community. The organization aims to accelerate scientific discovery, therapeutic development, and access to treatments and therapies for those with T1D, while advocating for better care, including lower-cost insulins and provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act capping out-of-pocket insulin costs at $35/month.
