Intel reveals new Lunar Lake processors with enhanced AI capabilities, aiming for improved power efficiency and a 4x increase in NPU processing power. Lunar Lake, Intel's next-gen laptop chip set for release this fall, will include significant updates to graphics architecture, Xe 2 graphics (Arc), and a new NPU that delivers 48 TOPS of performance. The processor will target AI PC platforms, such as Microsoft Copilot+, and is expected to offer up to 14% faster CPU performance at the same clockspeed, 50% more graphics performance, and up to 60% better battery life compared to the previous generation.
