Germany plans to increase its orders for crucial artillery ammunition by €880 million, aiming to refill depleted depots and support Rheinmetall in building a new production line. The German army intends to order an additional 200,000 155mm artillery shells, worth around €880 million ($960 million), bringing the total framework agreement with Rheinmetall to at least 1.2 billion euros.
