The move comes after the 49ers lost Charlie Woerner and Ross Dwelley to Atlanta in free agency and have 2023 third-round pick Cameron Latu recovering from a season-ending knee injury. Thomas, who spent the past four seasons with the Washington Commanders, had 55 catches for 496 yards and four touchdowns last season.
