ENDO 2024 study suggests MUSE-2 headband, tracking brain activity during meditation, reduces pain and improves physical functioning in Cushing's syndrome patients after surgery.
At ENDO 2024, a study suggested that patients with Cushing's syndrome using a MUSE-2 headband, which tracks brain activity during meditation, reported less pain and improved physical functioning three months after surgery compared to non-users. The MUSE-2 headband uses EEG sensors and audio biofeedback. Preliminary results indicate potential for the device to alleviate symptoms of glucocorticoid withdrawal syndrome.
