The Detroit Tigers plan to retire Jim Leyland's #10 jersey in a ceremony at Comerica Park on August 3. Leyland, who will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in July, managed the Tigers from 2006-2013, leading them to four playoff appearances and two World Series appearances. This will make him the 10th player and the second manager in the team's history to have his number retired.
