Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal surrendered to Tihar jail on June 2 after his interim bail in the excise policy case ended. Kejriwal visited Mahatma Gandhi's memorial at Raj Ghat and Hanuman temple in Connaught Place before surrendering. He was granted interim bail by the Supreme Court to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections and was required to surrender a day after the last leg of polling.
