The Catholic University of America unveiled a 25-acre solar farm, the largest in Washington D.C., in partnership with solar energy company, Standard Solar. The 13,800 solar panels generate 7.5 MW of power, supporting 1,200 households and reducing carbon emissions by 7.1 metric tons annually. The project aligns with the city's goal of carbon neutrality by 2025 and national targets for net-zero emissions by 2050.
