Carnival Corporation will shut down P&O Cruises Australia in March 2025 due to high operating and regulatory costs. The brand, established in 1932, will cease operations after 90 years and its products will be absorbed into its parent company, Carnival Cruise Line. The Pacific Encounter and Pacific Adventure ships will continue to sail, while the Pacific Explorer will exit the fleet after March 2025.
