Canada's key agencies, including the RCMP, Communications Security Establishment, and Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission, lack the capacity and tools to effectively protect Canadians from cyberattacks and tackle the growing threat of online crime, according to an audit by the federal spending watchdog. The report highlights breakdowns in response, co-ordination, enforcement, tracking, and analysis between and across the organizations.
